Pro tip: Batteries on the road
- Pro tip: Battery management on the road. We've been traveling around the world this year with small mirrorless cameras, and they're fantastic for travel. The image quality is great, and their size and weight make them perfect for lugging around. But one thing is undeniable, their size also make it where they can only take small batteries. So these batteries don't have quite the capacity of your big, heavy DSLR batteries. So we get around that in several ways. Number one, buy third-party batteries as back ups. They're cheap. In fact these are like $9.95 each. I've never had a problem with them. I go with my OEM battery most of the time and use these guys as backup. Number two, I'm actually gonna take four batteries for each camera. Typically I can get 300 or 400 shots from battery, so that's gonna last me a day most days. But sometimes you fall into something where you might end up shooting like 1,000 frames in a day and you wanna be able to do it. So, my thought is I take a charger,…
