- We are here in Bur Dubai, which is the old portion of Dubai. It kinda has a patina to it. And we are visiting with our local for this city, and our local is Sarah Dea, who is a photojournalist for The National, which is an English language newspaper based out of Abu Dhabi, and she works in the Dubai office. She moved here, what, two years ago? And you went from the west, and just picked up and dropped yourself right into a Muslim country, so that's a huge step, and so for people considering traveling here, you've kind of been through this process. What was your experience moving to a Muslim country from the west? - At first, everything was super mesmerizing. I felt like I was in this really exotic place. People were dressed different, the languages around me were different. But then after a week, I felt pretty settled and at home because there are a lot of western comforts here that I could get used to. - So, language, that's a good point.
