- So, if you remember from our Dubai trip, we suggested going in early March to coincide with Golf Photo Plus, here's a similar suggestion for photographers that are visiting New York City and have a little bit of control over their scheduling. Try to come in late October, because that's when Photo Plus Expo is held. They sound similar, but they're not related, they're completely separate, but Photo Plus Expo is a pretty big deal, and if you're a photographer, you want to be here in New York when this is happening. First, there's a fantastic exhibition. There are all kinds of manufacturers and you can literally kill an entire day walking around the show floor here. There's also a lot of educational components here, both paid for classes, and you can just drop in on speakers at some of the bigger photographic manufacturer booths.
