- Photography is a lot of fun. Unfortunately, photography can also get really expensive. When you start to add up all those accessories that you need or want, it can really take a toll on the pocketbook. The good news is, a lot of these things you can build yourself. And that's what this series is all about, the DIY photographer. Welcome. I'm your host, Joseph Linaschke. And we're going to be talking about things like building backgrounds. We'll be talking about building accessories for macro photography, low light photography. We'll talk about lighting your sets using inexpensive clamp lamps, or how to take your flashes and put two of them on your light stand at once. We have a ton of tips that I can't wait to share with you. So come along with me as we go shopping in places like the fabric store, and the hardware store, bring back all of our toys, and build some great accessories that we want for our world of photography.
