Assembling the time-lapse in Adobe After Effects CC

- Let's walk through the essentials of assembling a shot inside of After Effects. If you'd like to go deeper in this work flow, be sure to check out some of the other time-lapse training available here on lynda.com. To start, I'll choose File Import and navigate to that first image sequence that's been made. I'll select the first JPEG in the frame and make sure that the JPEG Sequence box is checked. Clicking Open will add that to my project. You'll note that this currently is playing back at 30 frames a second, but usually that's much higher a frame rate than you want for a time-lapse sequence. I'm gonna slow this down dramatically by choosing File, Interpret Footage, Main. And I'll give it a new frame rate of four frames a second. This means that each image is gonna be up for six frames before it transitions. Then, press return or enter to apply. There's the image sequence that we've captured so far.
