Underpainting the Stamp art
- [Instructor] Now that we've got our monarchs positioned around the poster, we're going to go ahead and we're going to start to paint the colors of the monarch underneath of our stamp art. So to do that, we need to create a layer underneath, and in this case, I'm going to start with the hero. So we'll create this layer and we'll move it directly below the hero. And let's just name it hero color. Okay, and the brush I'm going to use here is going to actually be some chalk, a pastel. And I'm using a round oil pastel two. So we've got our color, we've got our monarch. I'm going to go ahead and zoom up on this, too, so that we can see this in great detail as we're working. Okay, so I'm going to begin with the basic orange that is the color of a monarch. Something like this. So I'm just going in here and I'm laying this in.
