We have already passed through the looking glass into our world where digital paint brushes differently than their traditional counterparts. Are you ready to take another step into this not so natural world? How about brushes that do the painting for you? Let's venture forth. Now, I'm going to tell you up front, not all applications are capable of this. Painter happens to be especially good at it. Photoshop does have its Art History brush, although I would have to say its not as flexible as Painter's brushes are. The thing about Painter's brushes are you've got this entire library of hundreds of brushes. Some of them would not make good candidates, others nobody's ever tried to see if they're good, and some of 'em just don't work in this particular environment. So, you don't have, probably 900 brushes, but you probably have a good 4, 500 brushes that you can put into this auto-painting mechanism's hand and have it do the painting for you.
