One of the things beginning art students have to deal with is the fact that in a studio class environment everyone can see each other's incomplete artwork. There's nothing worse than someone coming up, looking over your shoulder at an unfinished piece you are in the middle of, which your mind's eye can see where the art work is headed by the way, and saying something along the lines of, what's that, or some equally ignorant remark. With digital painting you are at an advantage. For starters, you can paint and draw in the comfort of your own private space. Secondly, when that inner doubter comes up behind you and says what's that. You can use the almighty forgiving Undo command to remove whatever that was and take another run at it. I'm going to use the vase that I started to draw earlier here to give you an idea of what I'm talking about. I know that I want to draw a nice S-curve line right along here.
