…One of the key activities of Painter is being…able to create a new document and save documents.…So, let's take a look at how we do this.…I'm going to go up to the File menu and I'm going to go to New.…Click on that and it opens up the New Image dialog.…Let's go ahead and change this to a different…dimension so we'll say 1200 by 800 in this case.…Go ahead and click OK.…We've got our document open now and I'm just going to draw in…it here a little bit to have something that we can look at.…
So, let's just do a little quick drawing.…And, once you've got a file done,…obviously you're going to want to get back to it.…So the way we do that is to save the document.…Once again, go back up to the File menu and go to Save As.…Now why would we do that?…If I hit Save,…it's going to name it whatever the document currently is called.…And right now, it's called, untitled 1, which isn't very useful.…So, as a new document that I've just created, I'm going to say, Save As.…Now, I can call it something much more easier to get back to.…
