- So, that was the before. Let's take that same mindset, and create the after. We'll start in the same place, just a blank panel. Remember that the panel is part of the design, and focus on the most important thing, which is this picture. Simply place it on the panel. I'll full bleed both sides to the top, and that's it.
It's super clean. It gives us two clean spaces, there's no borders around it creating frames, there's no outlines on it, there's no rounded corners on it. The picture, which has very sharp lines, get it? Is now harmonizing with the sharp square edges of the sheet of paper. Add to that our name. This is in a very condensed typeface, and that's on purpose to create a very strong visual block here.
This is a typeface I believe it's called Bureau Grotesque Compressed. Very strong, we have aligned it to the left, and then to that, we'll just step his contact information right down the page. This is Franklin Gothic, I believe, Book Condensed, and his name, and his address and contact stuff at the bottom, all in uppercase. It was all done in uppercase to create a dense block so that the block of copy here becomes a single design element on his page.
