What is an AMP stack?

- Web based applications are sometimes referred to as multi-tier applications. And that's because they depend on multiple software products. On the client, you'll have a web browser. That's what the user actually sees and works with. And then on the server you'll usually have at least three processes running. An HTTP server that would seize and response to requests. An application server that processes business logic. And a database server that stores and manages your data. The client here is typically a web browser. This could be a web browser running on the desktop. For example on windows you might be using Microsoft Edge or Internet Exployer. Or on just about any operating system you might be using Google Chrome or Apple Safari or Opera. Or some some other small packages.
