- [Instructor] If you want to remove MySQL from your Window's instillation, you can do it using the Installer program. Don't go to the control panel, as you might do with other products. Instead, run the MySQL Installer application that was added to your system when you did the instillation in the first place. If you see a user account control dialog, accept it, and then when the application opens, you'll see a list of products that are available. If you see a prompt to upgrade the installer, I recommend doing so. Now, it may look like you need to uninstall one product at a time. If you try to hold down the shift or control key, you'll see that you can't select multiple items here. But instead, just choose MySQL server, click remove, and then on this screen you can select everything. Click next, and then decide whether you want to remove your data directory.
