- [Instructor] When you first install MAMP, you'll be using the most recent version of PHP that's installed with the product. As I showed previously, that version initially is 7.3.8 using MAMP 5.5. It is possible to switch to another PHP version using MAMP preferences. If I go back to the application and then select the preferences dialogue and click on the PHP tab I'll see that I can choose from two different versions. I can go back one point release. In this example, I'm going back to 7.2.21. I'll click okay and that immediately restarts my servers. Then my web start page reappears. I'll go to tools and PHP info and show that the version is changed. There are more versions available though and it takes a little bit of work to find them. I'm going to close down the MAMP application completely. And then I'll go to Finder and I'll go to the directory applications slash MAMP. From here, I'll go to the bin directory to PHP.…
