Working with the Ozone Exciter

- [Instructor] So before we get to some of the Vintage modules in the next chapter, I want to go over the Exciter module. The Exciter module is a really cool way to add some nice harmonics and saturation, or pleasant distortion to your master. And let's add that module now by clicking on it. So this is kind of the digital version, whereas the Vintage Tape module is going to be an analog emulation of a similar technique. So to show you this example, I've loaded a very simple A 440 sine wave and actually, let me just put in EQ right before this Exciter, just to show you what's going on here, so... Going to play that. (high pitch tone plays) And you can see we just have that A 440 sine. (high pitch tone plays) it's kind of like a hearing test, but bear with me. So with this A 440 sine, I'm going to come back over to the Exciter... (high pitch tone plays) And remember, we can select a region to just loop a section, let's just do that, I'm going to loop a nice big section here. And... Now…
