Vintage Compressor and hardware modeling
- [Instructor] Now let's dive into some of the vintage modules in Ozone. And the vintage modules are really cool. Many of them are emulations of classic analog hardware mastering modules, and they can be really great for a variety of applications. First off, I want to start with the vintage compressor. Now the vintage compressor is only currently available in the advanced version of Ozone or in the Vintage plugin bundle. I'm going to load that onto a track now. Here's our vintage compressor. And then back on our track from Hart Thorson, Across the Sky, that minimal techno track. One thing to note about the vintage compressor and what makes it different from some of our other dynamics modules is that the vintage compressor is a feedback compressor. And you can see this arrow here, kind of a graphic showing the feedback compressor. And a feedback compressor is a compressor that's essentially monitoring the output signal.
