Understanding the Vintage EQ
- [Instructor] The Vintage EQ is a powerful EQ module that's also only available in the latest version of Ozone Advanced or in the Vintage plug-in bundle. Now, this EQ module is a really interesting one. It's one of my favorites. Let's load it in and take a look. Going to click on Vintage EQ. We're still working with this techno track here, and I'm going to bring the EQ before the compressor that we created in the previous movie. I'm also going to go into the compressor and bring the threshold up just a little bit. In the example, I brought it way down to show some kind of extreme settings, but let's take it back just a little bit. (steady techno beat) That works for me. Just a nice, gentle compression. Let's go into our EQ. Okay, so this EQ module is interesting in that we essentially have two EQs, one on the top and one on the bottom. So the EQ module on the top is inspired by Pultec's legendary EQP-1A. And the one on the bottom is inspired by Pultec's MEQ-5, which is more of a…
