Standalone vs. plugin version

- [Instructor] iZotope Ozone features two different versions a standard version and an advanced version. In this course, I'll be using the advanced version of iZotope Ozone. I'll also be using Ozone in standalone mode. However, you can use Ozone's powerful modules inside your DAW of choice. As an example, I have Logic open and I'm going to navigate to where I find my audio units. Here I see iZotope and here I see the various modules in mono or stereo mode from Ozone. Now Ozone contains a suite of modules for processing audio in different ways. In general the mastering process involves working with EQ to boost or cut different frequencies using dynamics processors like compressors or expanders to increase or decrease the amplitude of certain frequencies using exciters and saturators to increase warmth and clarity and also modules to adjust the phase or stereo width of your mix. All of these modules work independently within the DAW.
