Approaches to EQ in Ozone 7
- [Instructor] Ozone features some powerful EQ modules, which allow you to accomplish various tasks in the mastering process. You can use an EQ in Ozone to EQ your tracks to the stereo, in midside mode, which allows you to EQ left and right differently from the center of your mix, and, finally, take a snapshot of the EQ curve from one of your favorite tracks and apply it to your own master. I'll show you how to do all of these things in the next several movies. Now, let's dive into working with the EQ. So, first, I'm going to drag an EQ module or just double-click to add it to our chain here, and right now I'm only using the EQ module. Another thing that I want to make sure we have enabled throughout this course is auto gain matching and we're going to do that by clicking this icon here, and that will automatically match the gain when Ozone is bypassed so we can really hear what's going on as we adjust the different modules in our signal flow.
