After you add or remove columns or sort a view, save these changes as a new view and you can apply it later. In this video, learn how to save the current view as a new view.
- [Instructor] I'm going to make … a couple of quick modifications to this view. … I'm going to turn off the reading pane … and I'm going to add a column to the view … and the column I'm going to add is … whether anyone was CC'd on this view … and I'm going to move that up after subject … and click OK. … And now I would like to save this view as a new view. … I'm going to click change view, … save current view as a new view. … And this was based on Single so it says Copy of Single … and I'm going to indicate that this is Single CC. … And I have three choices. … I can indicate that it's available on this folder … visible to everyone and you might wonder who's everyone. … Well, remember that Outlook isn't simply built … for us to manage our inbox. … We can create views for public folders. … So we could be creating a view in a public folder … and want everyone to be able to use it … or we would be creating a view in a public folder … or a folder that we shared with other people … and say no this is just my view. …
