Add folders to Favorites to provide transparency for subfolders in the Inbox, particularly for folders where messages are moved based on rules or Quick Steps.
- [Instructor] Rules are great because I can use them … to take messages that I'm receiving … and automatically move them to folders. … The downside is, that if my Inbox is collapsed … or if the folder above that message is collapsed, … it's hard for me to know that I have messages … that have been processed and moved to other folders. … So if I have rules that are moving messages … that are important for me to also be attentive to, … one way I can manage that is actually to use Favorites. … So I would like to have this folder … of Microsoft Online Services Bills, … which I'm responsible for, moved to the Favorites … because that way I can always tell … that there are four bills that I haven't yet managed. … You can rearrange the items in this Favorites list … simply using drag and drop. … Put them in whatever order you wish. … By default the Inbox is at the top. … And if you have a folder you don't want to have appear here, … like Deleted Items, you can remove it from the Favorites. …
