- You can customize just about every aspect of Microsoft Outlook. To start customizing, select File from the top left-hand side and choose Options. Since we've been working on mail, change to the mail tab on the left-hand side. Take your time and go through this list and see all of the items that you can change. For example, you can choose to always check spelling before sending messages. You can edit your signature files. I showed you how you can create personal stationary and send it out for occasional e-mails. However, you can set personal stationary as the default for any e-mail that you set out from here. Click Stationary and Fonts. Click Theme and then scroll to find your personal stationary that you've made. You can click OK if you like it or Cancel to get out of this dialog box.
