…Sometimes you want to delay the delivery of a message.…And there are times that Outlook can help you with that.…Not always, but sometimes.…If I'd like to delay a message to another time that Outlook will be running,…I can do that, as another time Outlook is running.…So, this isn't something that will work for you.…When you're leaving on vacation tomorrow and want Outlook to send messages for…you next week, unless you leave your computer running.…And Outlook itself has to be running as well.…What that means is that if sometime between now and…next week, someone shuts your computer off, or there's a power loss and…your computer reboots, Outlook won't be running and your messages won't be sent.…But with those caveats, this is a good way to be able to have a message leave later.…
For example, I might be working at 3 o'clock in the morning.…But I sure don't want anybody I work with to know because they'll hassle me…about it.…And tease me all day tomorrow.…So, I'm going to delay delivery of a message.…And I'm going to say don't deliver it before Monday at 8 a.m.…
