Create voting buttons in a message
- [Instructor] Voting buttons in Outlook are a fun and easy way to get quick feedback without having to create complex forms or do any tabulation yourself. To create voting buttons, from the home ribbon tab, click new email and then address and create the email as normal. I'm going to send this one to myself also. After you've created the body of your email, change to the options ribbon tab, and click use voting buttons. Outlook gives you some default choices but let's click custom. I can type in my own choices for voting as long as I separate them with a semi-colon. I'll click close and then I can send my email. Since I sent the email to myself, I'll double-click on it to show you what the voting process looks like. Here's where I can read the text in my email. I told everybody what the choices are and Outlook is telling me to vote by clicking vote in the respond group above. Instead of replying, replying all, or forwarding, I'm going to select vote.
