- [Instructor] Our next objective is to delegate tasks to others. My goal is to open the Customer Appreciation Menu task and assign it to Tammy. I'll double-click Customer Appreciation Menu, click Assign Task, begin to type Tammy's name, I'll select her from the pop-up. Notice the additional options. I can keep an updated copy of this on my task list and I can get a status report when this task is complete. This means that as Tammy updates the task, I'll be able to see those changes and as she marks it Complete, I'll receive a status report. We're able to keep this in sync because we're on the same Exchange Server. I'll change the due date to July 5th and then I'll click Send. Notice the icon looks different for this task because I've assigned it to someone else. When someone else delegates a task to me, it will show up on my Task List, as well as in my inbox.
