- When you call a meeting to order, you'll want to be prepared with who's coming and who can't make it. You also might want to make changes to the agenda or even call off the meeting entirely. I'm going to double-click on the meeting that we created. The first thing I need to do is add more information about the meeting. I now have a document that's an agenda and I want to attach it so all the recipients can see it. I can add some notes to it, and now I'm going to click Meeting from the top of the screen and select Attachment and Add.
From here I can browse my file system, select my agenda, click the blue Choose button, and it's going to get attached to my document so that all attendees can read it. I can cancel the meeting if necessary by clicking the Cancel button at the top of the screen. I'm not going to do that, but I do want to see who can make it. To see the status updates of all the people that have been invited to the meeting, click Scheduling at the top of the screen. It's going to bring up the same scheduling dialog that we saw earlier, except I can hover my mouse over the buttons on the right hand side beside the attendees names to see if they've been accepted or not.
I can see that Leslie has accepted my meeting invitation, and I don't have a response yet from Jonathan or Chong. I can get back to my appointment by clicking Appointment, and now I can type some more text. In fact, I can change the subject if I want to. From here I can click Send Update (computer bell rings) and all attendees will have gotten this new update.
