Assign categories: Outlook: Tips and Tricks

Categories allow you to visualize relationships in your inbox, calendar, people, or task list. You can assign one or more categories to Outlook items. There is one categories list that spans all the Outlook apps, so categories also provide continuity between the apps. To create or assign categories, right-click an Outlook item.
