Join Gini von Courter for an in-depth discussion in this video Adding hyperlinks to an email, part of Outlook 2013: Tips, Tricks, and Shortcuts.
…I was talking with Mark about a particular article, and I'd like to send it to him.…It's on the Microsoft site, so I'm going to switch over to Internet Explorer, and…show you the article real briefly.…It has a lovely URL.…And if I had that message opening again, right here.…I could actually drag this url and drop it into the message.…And I'd have to be able to see them both at the same time.…So, here's my message, drag drop.…And there it is.…Now that's okay,…that's actually a better looking url than the url that we saw up here in the bar.…And that's kind of nice, it's cleaned up a bit for us.…But I'd like to be able to send an even nicer url, so…what I'm going to do is I'm going to copy this.…Switch back and rather than including this link, and the url,…I'm going to say click this link for the Microsoft article.…
Pull up IT trends I spoke about on the call.…Now, click this link I'm simply going to insert a hyperlink.…I'll select the text that I'd like to link, insert hyperlink,…also Ctrl+K works for this, just as it does in Word.…
