Join tables

Join tables: Learning Oracle Database 12c
Join tables: Learning Oracle Database 12c

More often than not, you’ll need to use your SELECT statement to get information from more than one table, especially in a highly normalized database model. In this video, Bob Bryla will first show you how you join two or more tables, and even a table to itself. He’ll demonstrate how to perform joins using either the ANSI standard join syntax or Oracle’s proprietary join syntax. The types of joins will also be investigated: inner joins, outer joins (left, right, and outer), natural joins, as well as the notorious Cartesian product join. Within each table join, you can add additional criteria to make your table joins more efficient or to improve the performance of the join.
