- [David] Hey, I'm David Yahalom and welcome to my Oracle 12c Advanced SQL course. This course is intended for starting Oracle database users, developers, or even administrators, looking to expand their expertise with the programming related aspects of the Oracle 12c database. We will start by learning about some of the advanced capabilities of the Oracle SQL language, by using sub-queries and in line views. We will continue by exploring and discussing the performance enhancing benefits of creating table indexes and see how they can boost the performance of your SQL queries. We will also explain the concepts and benefits of Oracle table partitioning and see how to create range, list, and hash partition tables. We will continue by engaging in multiple hands-on demos and how to access the Oracle data dictionary to retrieve information about the Oracle database schemas. We will also discuss the fundamentals of Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages and see demos on how to create them. So, get comfortable, grab a good cup of coffee or tea, and let's start practicing the more advanced topics of using an Oracle 12c database.
