- [Instructor] Once we install the Oracle Database software, we'll be ready to dig into its features. This is the second and final install you'll do. Oracle Database. Here's what I'm covering in this step. Installing the software, verifying that the installation succeeded, and setting up the HR user account. After the installation is done, we'll be ready to start using Oracle Database and all of its features, including the many server-side tools, plus several client tools to choose from. SQL*Plus, SQLcl, and SQL Developer. I'll pick up where I left off with the GI installation. I'm logging back in as the Oracle user. Navigate to the other installer directory, dbhome19. I'll use the cd-command to do that. User one app oracle dbhome19. In that directory, there's a similar installer called "runInstaller." I'm going to run that right now.
