Managing existing connections - Oracle Database Tutorial
From the course: Oracle Database 12c: Basic SQL
Managing existing connections
- [Instructor] Managing existing connections in Oracle SQL Developer is quite easy. All you have to do is make sure that you right click on the connection name and then click on properties. You'll be presented with the details pertaining to that connection, such as the user name, such as the password, which is masked, the server name, the port, and additional information. Here you can make any modifications needed, test to make sure that your connection information is correct, and save the updated connection details. Once done you can either click on the connect button or the cancel button. Also note that you can delete existing connections by right clicking on the connection name and choosing delete, but please do not delete the HR connection just yet, as you'll need it throughout the course.
