Placing components on the PCB

- [Instructor] You have a PCB outline and now you need to place a part within the PCB design outline. So in PCB Editor, what we have here is the design outline. But there's also the Route Keepin outline and under that is the Package Keepin constraint and outline. What that's telling us is that our components need to be in this constraint, and that is indicated by the DRC markers. These little triangles are the DRC markers. It says that the constraint value for 0mm for the Package Keepin spacing is being violated, and actually we're 19.25mm outside of that constraint. So let's go ahead and unplace all of these components. To do that, select all of your components, right click, choose Symbol, Unplace component. Now we're going to place all of the components again. You can go to Place, Components Manually, then check mark all of them and place them one after the other. Or you can, let's cancel out of that. Open up your OrCAD Capture project that generated the net list for this to begin…
