- [Instructor] While OrCAD Capture is powerful in its own right, PCB Editor takes powerful to a whole other level. PCB Editor can be intimidating at first, so that's why we'll go through some basics in using PCB Editor. So first, open PCB Editor by going to your Start Menu, then scroll down to PCB Editor. Now you may have PCB Editor Lite, it is the same thing. And you may get a prompt that asks if you want to enter the Lite mode because a license is not available if you have the Lite version of the software. Okay, we're going to open a demonstration board. So you should get the start page here and can select open. But if you don't get this start page or if you can't find it here, you can go to the file and open, as well. Let's navigate to the examples folder that comes with the software. So it's installed in the share library and then PCB examples. Then you can check board design.
