- [Instructor] As you watch the video lessons for this course, you'll be able to download the course exercise files and work along with me if you'd like. The exercise files provided with this course were designed to work with open roads designer, 2020 release two, or newer version of the software. To set up the course training dataset, download the course zip file and extract the training files to your computer. The files will extract to the Bentley training Quickstart for civil geometry folder. Exercise files will be located in the folder, and a step-by-step training guide PDF document has also been provided. Each numbered exercise file corresponds to the same numbered video lesson. Completed exercise files have also been included so that you can compare your work and verify that you have successfully completed each exercise. All files has been configured to work with the training and examples workspace and the training Imperial work set which are delivered with the software. Keep in mind that when you're watching the video lessons for this course, that I will be only working in one design file. The design file called geometry.dgn that we create in the very first exercise. If you could feel comfortable using just one design file through the whole training course, feel free to follow along with me in the geometry design file. Once you have the training data set up, you're ready to begin the course.
