What is OneNote?

- [Instructor] OneNote, which is a Microsoft Office application, is a powerful digital notebook similar to a program like Evernote. OneNote allows you to create multiple notebooks in which you can store information such as notes, resources, websites, and more, with the ability to efficiently organize, search, and access them on any of your devices. It allows you to collaborate with others on documents in real-time and then curate and share these resources as well as notebooks. OneNote does all of this and much more. The appearance and features of OneNote are similar to those of other Microsoft products such as Word, and being a Microsoft product, it integrates with these programs very efficiently. In this course, we'll be looking at a specific feature within OneNote, and that is the class notebook add-in. But if you'd like to learn more about the overall features and functions of OneNote, I'd recommend checking out the OneNote Essential Training course, which is in our library.
