About the Author

Olia Gavrysh is a program manager on the .NET team at Microsoft.

Olia's main area of focus is .NET desktop platforms such as WPF, WinForms, and future versions of .NET. Previously, she was the project manager for the .NET machine learning framework called ML.NET. Prior to becoming a project manager at Microsoft, Olia accrued over a decade of experience as a software engineer.

Olia's background is in applied mathematics, artificial intelligence, and computer science, and she earned a BASc degree in applied mathematics and a MS in computational and applied mathematics from Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics in Ukraine.
