Join Nick Brazzi for an in-depth discussion in this video Working with Excel, part of Up and Running with Office Mobile for Windows 10.
- In this movie,…we're going to work with a spreadsheet in Excel.…Now I'm going to approach this with the assumption…that you have a general working knowledge of Excel…and focus on how to use the touch controls…to work in the mobile app.…So you can see I have a document here…and I can just scroll up and down just by placing my finger…on the main part of the screen…and then moving it up or down.…Now at some point, you're probably going to want to add…new data into a table like this,…so what you want to do is tap on a cell to select it.…And then to add data to the cell,…I can tap on the formula bar up at the top…and I can type in whatever I want.…
So let me add a new name for this row.…Now once you've typed something into a cell,…you'll want to take a look to the right of the formula bar.…There's a red X and a green check.…If you hit the red X, it'll cancel this…and you won't add this new data.…But if you hit the green check,…it'll keep what you've typed in.…And of course, you can do the same thing with numbers…or any other information that you might want to add.…
