- You'll know an email contains an attachment…because in the message summary…there's a paper clip icon.…You can see the attachments at the top of the screen.…The paper clip icon located at the top of the message…will tell you how many attachments there are.…You can act on each attachment seperately…or together.…There's a few things you can do.…To open up the attachment and read it,…you can simply double-click on it with your mouse.…You can also click on the arrow…to the right of the attachment for some options.…You can Preview the attachment.…This will pop it up quickly…in a special browser from Outlook,…although it's important to know that this will only…work for certain recognized file formats.…
You can Open it, which is the same as…double-clicking on it.…You can quickly print it,…and the following three…are options that you can do…to remove it from the email message.…If you have a lot of attachments in your mailbox,…they can start taking up a lot of room,…so you might want to remove them from the message…while still keeping the message in your inbox.…
