This course will explore innovative ways for educators to utilize the Microsoft Office applications and services. It is expected that users have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office and how to use it. Throughout the course, other courses are shared for those who would like to learn more about specific apps.
- [Instructor] In this course, we'll take a look at some innovative ways for educators to use the tools available in Microsoft Office, including apps like, PowerPoint, Sway, OneNote, Word, and more. These tools and tip are relevant to educators in K-12, higher education, or in corporate training. Now this course will not, however, be going over the basics of how to use each of these apps. It's expected that you have a basic level of understanding with regards to using some of the Microsoft Office tools. If there's one of the tools that you'd like to learn more about, no worries, throughout the course I'll be pointing other courses in our library which will teach you more about how to use the different features available in these programs.
Although Microsoft Office has different versions and although it's available on PCs and MACs, for this course I'll be using Office 2016 on Windows 10. Other than some minor differences, including the top ribbon on the PC version versus the menu bar on the MAC version, the programs are very similar, so the course should be beneficial no matter what type of computer that you're using. Let's get started.
