Learn how Microsoft Office 2016 can benefit your students and your teaching. Find out how to use Office Mix, PowerPoint, Excel, and more to create more dynamic lessons, organize student work, and save valuable time.
- Hi, I'm Oliver Shinkten, and thank you for joining me in Office for Educators. In this course, we'll take a look at how we can use Office applications to increase teacher efficiency and improve student learning. We'll take a look at best practices for some of the more popular applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as new ones, such as Sway and Office Mix. From creating resources to analyzing data, delivering presentations, to creating flipped classes, there's a lot we can do with Microsoft Office.
This course is highly focused on the pedagogy of using the Office Suite in the classroom. So before starting this course, you should have some basic knowledge of these programs. If you need a refresher, or if you're new to using Office, we do have courses on each of these applications. I'll include a list of the courses in the Exercise Files. So let's get started.
