Join Gini von Courter for an in-depth discussion in this video Using the Suggested Meetings app, part of Outlook Web App (OWA) 2013 Essential Training.
…We've already seen 2 of the 3 built in apps for OWA.…The Bing Map App and the Action Items Map.…This is the third and it's called Suggested Meetings.…So in the same way that the other 2 apps review…your email content to see if there is a possibility of…an action item or an address that's mappable, Suggested Meetings as…reading this text and determining that there might be a meeting here.…So, Jaryl lets…schedule a meeting for next Wednesday at 3 PM to brainstorm some candidates…for retreat facilitator and you might wonder…why didn't she do this meeting herself.…
The next sentence gives us a clue.…Choose 2 other team members to attend.…So I'm going to click the Suggested Meetings app button.…It says, we think we've found a meeting.…Let's schedule a meeting for next…Wedensday at 3PM to brainstorm some candidates.…Check this out. It knows when next Wednesday is.…It knows that it's 3PM to 3:30. It doesn't know how much time we want.…The default meeting is a half an hour and it…knows that at least we want to have Jaryl there.…
