Triggering a video using animations

One way of starting to play a media clip during a presentation is to include it along with your animation settings. For example, if I animate the graphics and text on my slide, I can have my video start automatically as soon as one of the animations completes. I'll go down to slide 6. In our case, I have a slide that has my text, my animated logo, and a video clip. I'll animate the text to appear one bullet point at a time as I give my presentation. After I talk about my last point, I'll click to bring out my logo and then I want my video to start automatically after a slight delay.

Start by clicking on your text and then click on the boarder of the text object so that it has a solid line all the way around it. Go to the Animations Ribbon and then click on the Entrance Animation, Fade. On the right-hand side of the gallery, click on the Effect Options button and then choose By Paragraph.
