Join Aaron Quigley for an in-depth discussion in this video Setting recurring calendar events for classes, part of Office for Students.
As students it can be an uphill battle to manage our schedules.…One of the nice features about the built…in calendar to Outlook, is that we have the…ability to take the events that we do…all the time, and set them as recurring events.…That way when I'm thinking about what I'm doing three weeks from now, I can make…sure I don't schedule something that's in direct…conflict with a group project that's coming up.…Or with a class that I currently have.…To model this, let's go ahead and build…in a typical school schedule into our calendar.…Here I've got the month of September open.…And let's say that school starts on September 2nd.…Maybe I have a class that meets Monday, Wednesday,…Friday, and goes all the way through December 15.…
What I'd like to do is go ahead and put that entry in…just once and have that class…automatically appear and fill that time slot.…That way, as I'm planning the activities in the month of October…and November, I'm going to be sure to not schedule something during class time.…To get started, I'll go ahead and double-click on Monday…
