- Outlook has an extensive list of Options…that you can customize to get it all set up…just the way you work the best.…From anywhere in Outlook click File…on the top left hand side of your screen,…and choose Options.…This is going to bring up the Outlook Options dialog box.…Take the time to go through every tab on the left hand side…of the screen.…You can start with the Mail settings that you can change.…For example, you can always spell check your messages…before you send them.…You can change what sound plays when you get new messages.…
You can also change how replies and forwards act.…In the Calendar options,…you can change the days for your work week.…For example, if you work Monday through Saturday,…you can set those dates.…You can also change the Default reminder time…for your Calendar appointments.…In the People area,…you can change how you want your Contacts sorted…in the view.…Take the time to go through every single Option,…including the Advanced tab.…You can choose where you want Outlook to start.…You can choose if you want any Reminders to be shown at all.…
