Join Gini von Courter for an in-depth discussion in this video Searching mail and people, part of Outlook Web App (OWA) 2013 Essential Training.
…When I want to look for a message that has particular information and I…do not need to browse and it's really easy for me to start to…do that just to go in here and to begin scrolling and looking around…but don't forget you have a really solid search utility right here in OWA.…So, if I'm looking, for example, for information in any…of my folders about the SN project, I can simply…enter SN project as a key word.…I can then press Enter or I can click here.…
And it will go through my inbox.…And here's where the words are highlighted so that…I can even see that it appears four times.…I can use the Previous and Next buttons to see each time those words appear.…To get back all of the messages again just click the X and clear…the filter.…We have some information about, I know I was supposed to do…something about a menu, and I can simply type menu and press Enter.…There's the holiday party, there's menu. Menu here as well.…
So that works quite well, and also if I'm looking for example for something in.…I could either say it's from Jaryl, it has a key word of Jaryl in it.…
