Join Gini von Courter for an in-depth discussion in this video Saving and opening draft messages, part of Outlook Web App (OWA) 2013 Essential Training.
…If you're in the middle of working on a message and you're interrupted and…need to stop for a while, you can always save it in your drafts folder.…As a matter of fact, if you leave your computer set up running OWA and…don't touch a message for a while, OWA…will automatically save it to drafts for you.…But this is something you can do yourself.…You can simply click here and choose Save on…the menu and your message will be saved to your…drafts folder.…So, if I go over here, it's here in drafts and I can also continue working on it.…
So, right here, I can set I'd like to continue and just keep typing.…But I've saved a copy of it as it was at that time.…Now, there is no continued auto-save that will do this every five minutes for…me, I'll need to make sure that if I want to save it, I save…it But this allows me to put my work on hold and then go…back and continue working on a lengthy email message, if I have one to write.…If, for whatever reason I have closed my session and I go back,…I can simply open up the drafts folder and open up this message.…
