Join Jess Stratton for an in-depth discussion in this video Saving a custom theme, part of PowerPoint 2013 Essential Training.
So, here's my finished presentation.…It's all done, and I'm ready to close out of it, but we've changed this theme quite a bit.…Remember, we started with a base theme, we went into the Slide Master, and we did things like changing layouts.…We even created our own layout, we changed the background, and we added a logo.…That took a lot of time.…You can save time the next time you have to make presentation by instantly using the same design.…This means that you'll get a brand-new blank presentation that's empty of all content but…has all the same design elements that we edited when we changed that Slide Master.…
So let's save this theme.…We do that by going to the DESIGN Ribbon tab, under the Theme section, click the pulldown menu,…and choose Save Current Theme.…Now, it's going to browse to a special place on our computer.…We're just going to keep it right where it is, and let's give it a name.…I'll call this No Obstacles Theme, because it's for my company, and I plan on creating…many more presentations using the same theme.…
