Playing a clip automatically

By default, you have to start an audio clip manually by clicking on it during your presentation. While that's appropriate in some settings, so that it's time to correct it with your speech, you may want your sound effect to start as soon as you bring up your slide. Here's how to make that happen. I'm on slide 3 in my presentation. Click on your Audio clip to select it then go to the Audio Tools Playback tab. In the center are a series of Audio Options. Find the Option that says Start On Click. Click on the drop down arrow to its right and choose Automatically.

Now the sound is set to start automatically, but I'm not actually sure if it's going to happen before or after my bullets. Click on the Animations tab and then turn on the Animation Pane right here. Notice that I have a number 4. I can see that my sound is going to start after Previous, and in fact it's going to start after these four bullets.
