- If somebody else has given you permission…to view their calendar,…you can open it in your copy of Outlook.…The first thing I'm going to do is…click the triangle on the top left hand side…to expand the folder pane.…Once we've done that,…I'll click the push pin to keep it there permanently.…Now I'll change to the Home Ribbon tab…and let's select Open Calendar.…There's a few choices.…We can open calendars from the Room List if we want to see…the conference rooms and who's booked them.…You can open a calendar from the Internet,…such as a public Google calendar.…
Here's where you can create a new blank calendar or even…a shared calendar that your company may have created.…For now, I'll choose from Address Book.…Leslie has already given me permission to view her calendar.…I'll select her name, click Calendar…in the bottom left hand side of the screen,…and then click Okay.…I can now see Leslie's calendar, right next to mine.…And on the left hand side, I can see her calendar in green.…There's a few things I can do.…The first thing is I can hide Leslie's calendar at any time…
