When meeting requirements change, Microsoft Outlook 2016 allows me to quickly and easily invite additional attendees, delete attendees, change meeting time or location, and delete meetings. Outlook will prompt me to communicate meeting changes with attendees. Optionally, I can choose to communicate changes in the attendee list only with newly added or deleted attendees.
- [Voiceover] Changing a meeting is like changing…an appointment with the requirement…that we communicate with other attendees.…I'm going to switch to look at just the day.…And I have my vendor interviews.…I want to move them to another day.…They're currently scheduled in March on the second,…but I'd like to move them to the fourth.…You can see the fourth right there.…I'm going to grab this meeting,…and I'm going to drag it to the same time on the fourth,…and release.…
Notice, immediately, I haven't even opened the form,…but immediately because I moved the meeting,…the time of the meeting has changed,…do I want to save changes and send the update?…Do I want to not save but keep the meeting open?…These are my two choices,…and I want to be clear what we're being prompted for.…If I'm certain this is where it's going,…I can choose the first choice.…If I want to see if this is an acceptable time…for the other attendees, though,…I'm going to choose, don't save but keep the meeting open.…But there is not a choice here that says…
